A Classic Beginning
My musical journey began with piano and vocals. I trained from a young age in classical music and operatic vocal styles followed by music theory. I was lucky enough to take part in many amazing projects over the years, including The BBC Proms, and performed at The Royal Albert hall as a singer in my youth. I was even lucky enough to meet the legendary Rachel Portman in person. She and many other composers, across games and film would go on to inspire me.
Production, Composing, Design
In my early 20's my journey into music production began as I realised my passion was composing VS performing and I began producing music in a wide variety of styles, from classical, to EDM, to Dwarf Fortress inspired guitar ballads. And I haven't looked back since. I constantly continue to train, hone my craft and expand my knowledge working across genres, engines, and instruments (mostly virtual - sadly my house isn't big enough to own them all!). As I finalise my professional portfolio, I love working with indie game developers but strive to one day be a known name across the wider gaming industry.
ABOUT
I've been a gamer and soundtrack fanatic all my life
Growing up I played all kinds of games, from Pokemon, to Colin McRae Rally, to Final Fantasy, Persona and Halo. Over time I realised although I was inspired by the stories games offered, it was their music I was most captured by. I fell even more deeply in love with the power of soundtracks when I first watched Lord of The Rings, discovered Ghibli, and other core influences of mine. I've been creating music from a young age - and collecting inspiration across an entire lifetime.
