Overview
I'm very proud to be working on this beautiful, hand-crafted game inspired by Stardew valley, Studio Ghibli, and magical RPG's. The Spirit Apprentice is a cozy adventure where you explore a magical fantasy world, tame spirits (charming magical creatures), and help town residents while uncovering the mysteries of the spirit world.

Magical, Mystical, Japanese Inspired
Handcrafted with love, inspired heavily by Japanese culture, and beloved media such as Studio Ghibli this unique and character-full game requires a unique, immersive soundtrack to bring the magic of the world and story to life.
ABOUT
Characteristic Sounds
Utilising characteristic Japanese VSTs (virtual instruments) helps to bring the right feel and atmosphere. But instead of purely Japanese instrumentation, a mixture of traditional orchestral arrangement plus magical sounding synths, pads and samples gives the game a unique and mystical feel.
Creating A Cosy Experience
To get the feel and sounds just right, this project requires a balance of cosiness, mystery and magic. A wonderful and whimsical combination that requires unique instrumentation especially considering the Japanese themes too. All of these come together to create an immersive and unique sound helping engage the player and make the game stand out.
